Bright red radishes look so darn lovely on a skewer, and grilling them cooks away the peppery bite that deters some folks from chomping into a raw radish. Check it out:

Preparation
1) Drizzle some olive oil on a plate — just enough to cover the lower section of the plate. Trim the greens off the radishes, leaving about an inch of the leaf stems on the radishes. Trim the root-tails off the bottom ends of the radishes. Now chop the radishes in half longitudinally and arrange them cut-side-down in the olive oil. It’ll look something like this:
2) Skewer the radishes.
3) Toss ’em on the grill for a few minutes. When little spots of singeing start to show up on the radishes, they’re done. Pull the skewers off the grill, sprinkle the radishes with salt, and enjoy!
